Meet The Team



Clyde W. Richert III
Senior Partner

Clyde grew up in Springfield and attended Springfield public schools. Clyde graduated from the University of Alabama in 1973 with a Bachelor's degree in business and received a Master's degree in Criminal Justice 1974 from Alabama, graduating with honors. While attending Alabama and Cumberland Law School, he was a member of various professional, honorary and social fraternities and organizations, including ODK leadership society and Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Alabama and Phi Delta Phil at Cumberland. He interned with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Birmingham and was a member of the Cumberland Moot Court Team.

Clyde has practiced law in Springfield for 37 years and is presently the senior partner in the law firm of Richert & Dilliha, PLLC. His law practice includes business planning, litigation, wills and estate planning, real estate, governmental law, and general civil practice. Clyde has also been the Robertson County Attorney for approximately 27 years, representing all elected and appointed officials of the County in their various duties. Clyde is a member of the Robertson County Bar Association (past President), a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, and has chaired the local committee of the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners to review potenial new attorneys. Clyde holds the highest A V ratings for both legal ability and ethics, from the national attorneys rating service Martindale–Hubbell. Clyde is also Certified Rule 31 Mediator.

Gary L. Dilliha
Partner

Gary was born in Russellville, Kentucky. He obtained a B.S. degree with honors from Western Kentucky University in 1985 and graduated from the University of Kentucky Law School in 1994. He has been admitted to the practice of law in Tennessee since that date.

Gary was employed in an engineering capacity with Logan Aluminum, in Russellville, Kentucky following his undergraduate degree and later with Electrolux in Springfield, Tennessee. He has practiced law in Springfield since 1997 and is a partner in the law firm of Richert & Dilliha, PLLC.

Gary is a Tennessee licensed title Insurance Agent and is the office manager of Richert & Dilliha Title Services, Inc. Gary is a member and former president of the Robertson County Bar Association, a member and past President of the local Kiwanis Club, and has served on various community boards for several years. Gary has served since 2007 as City Judge for the City of Springfield, Tennessee. His practice includes municipal law, real estate, contracts and probate matters.

Jarod C. Richert
Associate Partner

Jarod was born and raised in Springfield, Tennessee and attended Springfield public schools. For his undergraduate studies, he attended Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2003. Jarod then attended the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, from which he graduated in 2006.

Jarod has now been a licensed and practicing attorney for the law firm of Richert & Dilliha, PLLC for 13 years. His practice includes family law, criminal law, juvenile law, wills and estate planning, probate matters and general civil litigation. In addition to his primary practice in Robertson County, Tennessee, Jarod has also represented numerous clients in Davidson, Montgomery, Sumner and Cheatham counties.

Since beginning his professional career, Jarod has also been a member of various professional and civic organizations, including the Tennessee Bar Association, Robertson County Bar Association (past President) and Springfield Rotary Club (past President). He is also a graduate of the Robertson County Leadership program sponsored by the Robertson County Chamber of Commerce.
